Interstate Power and Light (Alliant Energy) offers prescriptive rebates for a variety of energy efficient products for agricultural customers. In addition to these incentives, IPL offers a Farm Energy Audit and New Construction Programs. For the Farm Energy Audit, customers that install technologies suggested by the energy audit are eligible for rebates. The New Construction Program offers both design and construction incentives for high efficiency buildings. For design, the customer works with IPL on the design of the building and the incentive amount is based on the square footage of the building.

Linn County Rural Electric Cooperative - Agricultural Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Summary:

Linn County Rural Electric Cooperative Association (Linn County RECA) is a member-owned cooperative. To encourage energy efficiency, Linn County offers a number of equipment rebates to agricultural customers. Qualifying agricultural customers are eligible to receive rebates on geothermal heat pumps, air source heat pumps, central air conditioning, a variety of dairy equipment, heat lamps and pads, equipment controls, recovery ventilators, circulation fans, motors, variable speed drives, lighting equipment, electric water heaters, and various Energy Star appliances.

The Ames Electric Department provides free energy audits and multiple energy efficiency rebates for commercial and industrial customers. The CFU Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebate Program provides rebates for a variety of energy efficient improvements in commercial facilities. Muscatine Power and Water - Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Rebates

Summary:

Muscatine Power and Water (MP&W) offers rebates for energy efficient upgrades to commercial and industrial customers. Rebates are available for commercial lighting retrofits, energy efficient motors, LED exit signs, fluorescent light bulbs, air conditioners, air source and water source heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps, and custom measures that reduce electricity demand. Facilities must receive an energy audit from MP&W prior to any equipment replacement in order to be eligible for demand reduction based rebates.
