Independence Power and Light offers rebates to their commercial customers for purchasing and installing energy efficient equipment. Eligible measures include lighting, controls, sensors, and air conditioning units. Efficient lighting measures must be replacing less efficient fixtures, which are specified on the program application.
Columbia Water & Light (CWL) offers rebates to its commercial and industrial customers for the purchase of high efficiency HVAC installations and efficient lighting. Incentives for certain measures are based upon the size and efficiency of the installed measures.
Kansas City Power & Light (KCP&L) provides financial incentives for commercial and industrial customers to increase the energy efficiency of eligible facilities. Rebates are available for custom energy-saving measures in new or existing buildings. All custom rebates are individually determined and analyzed to ensure that they pass the Societal Benefit/Cost Test.

Empire District Electric Company offers rebates to certain commercial and industrial customers for the installation of energy efficiency equipment. Prescriptive rebates for lighting, air conditioners, and motors are available for customers using CB and SH tariffs (commercial facilities with a demand of less than 40 kW).

Ameren Missouri offers cash incentives to non-residential customers for virtually any cost-effective energy efficiency project. Standard incentives are available for lighting, controls, HVAC, refrigeration, computer/IT upgrades, electric water heating and ENERGY STAR® commercial kitchen equipment. Energy efficient equipment not eligible for Standard incentives may qualify for Custom incentives. Incentives are also available for Retro-Commissioning and New Construction projects.

City Utilities of Springfield offers incentives for commercial customers to increase the efficiency of eligible facilities. Rebates are available for efficient lighting upgrades, controls and for programmable thermostats. The rebate amount is based on number and type of fixture or kW saved. Free commercial energy and lighting audits are also available under this program.
Platte-Clay Electric Cooperative offers a variety of rebates to residential and commercial customers who wish to upgrade to energy efficient equipment. Newly installed ground source heat pumps are eligible for a $750 per ton rebate. This rebate amount also covers the replacement of existing propane, natural gas, air source or electric resistance heating units. Dual fuel and replacement geothermal heat pumps may receive a rebate of $150 per ton.
Up to $1,100
Empire District Electric offers rebates for the utilization of energy efficient measures and appliances in new, low-income homes. Rebates are available for several types of building insulation, heat pumps, central air conditioners, refrigerators, and lighting. The level of the rebate available is generally limited to the incremental cost of the efficiency measure above a baseline determined by the utility.
